Hello, I am a Lucifer Shrimp and I am a Plankton but you can just call me Lucci.

I look huge but I am actually really tiny- you can only see me by using a microscope!

During the 40 days of my pretty short life, I am carried around by the ocean currents, so I am actually a kind of a drifter.

The female shrimps incubate about 140 eggs attached to its legs, and my baby brothers and sisters hatch from the eggs at night.

I eat zooplankton, so I am a carnivore, a predator, but do not be afraid of me; in general I am a pretty friendly creature.
